Tardebigge Parish is once again proud to be involved in the Bromsgrove Festival. The events we are hosting this year are:

Sunday 30th June 6pm: Songs of Praise at St Mary’s Lower Bentley – “A Summer evening’s singing in a beautiful location”

A community Songs of Praise will be held in our beautiful chapel of ease in the heart of rural Worcestershire. Come and join in the singing of favourite hymns and worship songs. All suggested by participants. St Mary’s Church, High Elms Lane, Lower Bentley, Bromsgrove B60 4JA

Sunday 7th July at 4.30pm – Organ Recital with Hannah Gibson at St Bartholomew’s Tardebigge.

Organ recital by accomplished young Scottish organist Hannah Gibson, with music ranging from Richard Wagner to John Ireland. Hannah studied at Dundee Cathedral, the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and in Vienna and is currently a freelance musician based in Worcestershire. The audience is welcome to stay for the Evensong service starting at 6pm.

Sunday 14th July at 4pm  – Afternoon Baroque at St Bartholomew’s Tardebigge

Songs and instrumental numbers by Vivaldi, Handel, Purcell and other Baroque and Renaissance composers performed by The Arden Consort – Mike Ashley (lute & theorbo), Heather Holt (flute, recorder, viol), Jonathan Spencer (voice & viol) and David Yates (recorders). The audience is welcome to stay for the Evensong service starting at 6pm.

Sunday 21st July at 6pm – Choral Evensong with the Clent Consort at St Bartholomew’s Tardebigge

A unique range of music as the Clent Consort sings Choral Evensong in our beautiful parish church. The Consort is a choir from the Bromsgrove area, which since its formation 17 years ago has sung services in cathedrals and great churches from Chichester to Beverley and from St David’s to Southwark.
