Choral Evensong with the Clent Consort – Sunday 16 July 2017

Join us on Sunday 16 July for a special choral Evensong service

The singing will be led by local choir, the Clent Consort.

They are making a welcome return to Tardebigge, bringing their unique range of choral music to our traditional Evensong service.

The event is free, and you don’t have to be a church-goer to enjoy it – everyone is welcome!

The service starts at 6.00 pm in St Bartholomew’s church.

The Clent Consort

The Clent Consort is a group of amateur singers from Bromsgrove, Clent and the surrounding areas.

Since their formation 15 years ago, the choir has sung at services in cathedrals, abbeys and minster churches as far apart as Chichester in Sussex, Beverley in Yorkshire and Sherborne in Dorset.

They are regular visitors to us here at St. Bartholomew’s, and we are pleased to have them back leading us in this time of celebration and worship.

2017 Spring Plant Sale – Saturday 20 May

The 2017 Tardebigge Spring Plant Sale

Join us at the Spring Plant Sale on Saturday 20 May.

The sale starts at 11am in the Church Hall.

It’s a chance to meet friends old and new, stop for a chat over a cuppa, and pick up a few home-grown plants at bargain prices.

All the plants are grown and donated by members of the parish – serious and amateur gardeners alike.

There will also be stalls where you can buy home-made preserves, cakes and Traidcraft products.

The money raised from the sale of the plants and the refreshments helps the church to continue its work in the local community.

Please note – it’s best to arrive in plenty of time to make sure you get the best bargains!

Do you have plants to donate?

If you have home-grown plants to donate, please bring them to the Church Hall at 6pm on the evening before the sale, Friday 19 May.

If you’re not able to bring them yourself, or bring them at that time, please let the organiser Lucy Parkes know as soon as possible (see below for contact details).
