Preparing for your child’s baptism

If you are planning to baptise your child at St Bartholomew’s or St Mary’s, we ask you to attend a preparation session before you book a date for the baptism service.

The baptism preparation sessions last about 60 minutes, and are held regularly throughout the year, usually at – St Leonard’s Church Beoley, St Philip’s Church Webheath,  and  St Stephen’s Church Redditch.

Booking a place at a baptism preparation session

To book a place at a baptism preparation session, please use the contact form (from the drop-down list, choose the option for ‘Weddings, baptisms…’).

After you have attended a baptism preparation session, you can then book a date for your child’s baptism.
