Bromsgrove Festival 2017 at Tardebigge

St Bartholomew’s Tardebigge is hosting two events for the 2017 Bromsgrove Festival

The 2017 festival includes a wide variety of music, arts, comedy and community events in and around the Bromsgrove area, from 16 June through to 23 July.

The first of the two here at Tardebigge is our informal concert on Friday 23 June, followed by a special Evensong on Sunday 16 July.

Come to both, and enjoy evenings of traditional and contemporary music in a beautiful church with superb acoustics.


Friday 23 June7.00pm*Tardebigge Informal Concert

Our annual celebration of music and song from local amateur talent, including the Tardebigge First School Choir.

This is an informal concert featuring classical pieces, part-songs and instrumental performances including the church’s Nicholson organ. Proceeds are in aid of the organ fund.

Tickets are available on the door: Adults £5.00; Children under 16 free.

Sunday 16 July6.00 pmChoral Evensong with the Clent Consort

The Clent Consort return to St Bartholomew’s for a special choral Evensong service.

The Consort is a choir based in the Bromsgrove area. Since its formation 15 years ago, it has sung in cathedrals and abbeys across the country, from Chichester to Beverley.

The Clent Consort bring their unique range of choral music, fit for a cathedral, here to Tardebigge and our beautiful parish church for the evening service.

Evensong is one of our regular Sunday services. You don’t have to be a church-goer to enjoy this free event – everyone is welcome!
